About Us

Danny Drye, Shop Owner

Danny retired from the Durham Fire Department with 30 years of service in November 2007. His dad was a big game hunter and he grew up with a love of the outdoors and hunting. Shooting sports have always been a big part of his life. His wife Carol shares these interests and they enjoy shooting and hunting together. When he retired he and Carol decided to fulfill his dream of opening a gun shop. Danny is also a NRA Certified Instructor.

Carol Drye, NRA Certified Instructor

Carol is Danny's wife and is a NRA Certified Instructor. Carol is a registered nurse and worked at Duke University Health System for more than 25 years. She now works for the McKesson Corporation. Carol enjoys making sure the local turkey population stays at acceptable levels.

Glenn is a Durham firefighter and a wizard with carpentry tools. Glenn is a NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer.

Travis

Travis is a retired painter and a heck of a nice guy. He's a shotgun hunter.

Jeanece

Jeanece is the new book keeper. She's a crack shot and grew up hunting and fishing.

Jacques

Jacques is an IT guru and does the website for the shop. Jacques is a NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Range Safety Officer, and helps teach classes at the shop.
