While widely recognized today as a major political force and as America's foremost defender of Second Amendment rights, the NRA has, since its inception, been the premier firearms education organization in the world. But our successes would not be possible without the tireless efforts and countless hours of service our nearly four million members have given to champion Second Amendment rights and support NRA programs. As former Clinton spokesman George Stephanopoulos said, "Let me make one small vote for the NRA. They're good citizens. They call their congressmen. They write. They vote. They contribute. And they get what they want over time."
Caswell Ranch offers many shooting disciplines in a great country setting with easy access from I-40. The two stories red Dutch barn “Welcome Center” offers lounge, retail, and conference room for business meeting and classes. A challenging Sporting Clays Course with 10 Stations along a gravel path circles one mile. Also pistol bays where competitions in Ruger Rimfire, ICORE, & IDPA matches are scheduled each month. Check the 2010 calendar for dates and times. Five major tournaments are scheduled for 2010.
The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real life encounters. It was founded in 1996 as a response to the desires of shooters worldwide. The organization now boasts membership of more than 13,500, including members in 36 foreign countries. One of the unique facets of this sport is that it is geared toward the new or average shooter, yet is fun, challenging and rewarding for the experienced shooter. The founders developed the sport so that practical gear and practical guns may be used competitively. An interested person can spend a minimal amount on equipment and still be competitive.

The “off-the-shelf” units each hold their own benefits and advantages. Some are less visible and use washable silicone tips to stay in the ear. Some are worn behind the ear and can be fitted with custom-fit earplugs to increase comfort and stability. Whatever you choose, we hope to bring a better experience to enhancing your outside sound levels while keeping your hearing protected during your active interests.
